Is the 21st century, and technology is advancing at the speed of light, I mean we are able to see that in different places around the world people are creating new gadgets and machines that makes of education a more efficient thing. And in Chile we are no that far from all that technology, because you can see that every Chilean student knows how to surf the net, which is the biggest information highway and also other kinds of technologies, but here in our university all the technology that we use is directed to health sciences, and in my case I would like to detail some the things that I had experienced this year related to technology.
Well, here in our faculty technology is not a priority, because if it were I mean I would be able to enjoy of an amazing infrastructure that let me be in a perfect comfort during the long days here, but well, even if the infrastructure is not the best I still was able to use the microscopes during some of my subjects like Biology, Histology, etc. And well they were not the best but they were useful.
And well talking about the auditorium which are the places that I used the most of the time, let me tell you that they’re all improved with the audio system, and with a Data which are devices that allows teachers to make their classes in Power Point format, so once the class is over they upload class to the net, and we are able to download them and study from them in our homes, and this permits us to pay more attention to the teachers and I didn’t have to waist time writing down the information. And last I would like to talk about the site www.auladigital.med.uchile.cl which is the page where all the information related to the different subjects including, tests places, classes, and marks can be found.
And well, the year is almost over and I have to say that technology that we used this year allowed me to make my learning more efficient that it used to be in school last year, but I have to say that I would be very happy if the inversion in technology to improve the faculty were higher. So in the next years the new students could be able to take the biggest advantage of all that this Medicine Faculty can give us, because it’s been only one year but I have to say that I love my faculty and my career.

Challenges To Face In Obstetrics
Hi everyone, today I would like to talk you about the challenges that me and my classmates in Obstetrics are facing and all the Obstetricians in general, and well there are things to face in every area you can imagine (obviously related to the career) but this time I will only talk about three different aspects, and they are Technology, Social Matters and Education, in the first one I will talk about how do we have to live with the constant discoveries related to childbirth, pregnancy and woman’s health, in social matter I will mention our role in the society and in education I will talk about the mission that we have as educators of the users.
Well people in the Obstetrics career we make a big use of technology because for example since the mother gets pregnant we have to be constantly checking the mother and new being’s health with the use of Ultrasound, and also we have to know how to use all the machines of the delivery room so all this issues that we could have using this instruments can be completely resolved if we practice, I mean “practice becomes you a master”, talking about social matters, I think that we have an important role in the society because in my opinion people see us like the professionals of pregnancy, childbirth, etc, so as professionals is our duty to give the best attention to the users of the Health System, and here our challenge is to front all the fact that we have to face from the easiest cases and the nicest persons to the cases that mother or child life’s are in danger and when we have to serve to people who is not nice with us, which I think that is very easy to solve I mean it is all about personality and the enthusiasm that we put on it . Finally and one of the most important challenges of the Obstetrics is the education because we are like very essential as educators in topics like pregnancy, labour work, and the fact of take care of the baby, which is very important to mothers with her first child, all this in the time when the baby is already developing, but also we are able to give sexual education to people who doesn’t want to have babies or get an sexually transmitted disease and here is our challenge because we have to educate not only young people but also sexual workers, so we have to try to use the most suitable language to give clear information so people can take care of themselves.
Okay I think that’s all I mean I don’t even know if this is okay but at least this is what I understood, see you next week. Greetings!

Things to do in our Faculty...
Hi everybody today I would like to talk you about the situation in my faculty, and well I think that in a first look I can say that it has a nice infrastructure because it allows that thousands of students from the different careers be able to have their classes and practical works, etcetera. Also the teachers are the best in the country so, academically I don’t have any complain. Another thing that I would like to talk about it is about the library of our faculty, I mean is the most beautiful part of the faculty, and also the work of the people who work there is very efficient, and I have to say that I own them a lot, because they had forgive me a few times with things that I return out of date like a chemistry book, or the study rooms of the third floor. But well, this is not just about the library, and I think that one of the most important things that should be improved in the faculty is the technological aspect, because there are not enough good quality computers, also during the Histology practical works, some of the microscopes are really old and they are not very useful, actually in the last histology practical work I broke one the samples that teacher gave us to see the liver, but well, here is a good thing of the university, and is that here we have a lot of samples so I didn’t have to pay it or anything.
Well as the technology is one of the most expensive aspects to improve I think that one of the first steps is to tell to the dean what are the needs that we have, and then to go further and let know about our issue to a person of the government like the education minister, or even more to ask to the presidential candidates what would they do about our issue, and maybe it is something crazy to do but, it is better than doing nothing.
Finally this improvements would benefit us all because for example everybody needs to use the computers to do the very difficult works and investigations that teachers tell us to do, and also if the lab’s microscopes could be better, all the practical works would be a lot easier than they are now.
Ok, that is all, I hope all of you finish you careers loving the faculty and everything, see you!

Online Hobbies... (Y)
Hi everybody today I will talk you about the hobbies, which I think that are an important thing in every person’s life, because it allows you to get a lot of fun, and to develop some unique skills, and also to meet people, and I say this because when I wasn’t in the university yet, I used to play online games, like “Medal of Honor Allied Assault” and “Gunz” both games about guns and war, but well, when I played them it was like a nice releasing of the stress when I shoot the other person’s characters that were playing the game at the same time. During my time playing this games I met a lot of people from different parts of our country, mainly from here Santiago, but also from Concepción, Viña del Mar and obviously that from Rancagua my beautiful city. I think that I started playing online game since I had sixteen years, because a friend talked to me about this games and then I want it to play and see how was this online experience like. Well, I think that the main skill I develop was to increase my reflects and my response speed, which I think is very useful for example to drive a car, because you need to be alert during the driving, and even more if you’re driving in Santiago. And well even if this games are online and you are not able to physically share with other persons you can make a lot of nice online friends, and then to have the chance to meet them somewhere to eat or drink something sometime just as I did once with the gamers of Rancagua and it’s fun because when you listen to them when you’re playing they sound very rude and everything but when you see them in person there are very normal persons with the same interests that you have so I can say that it is not a thing of online play behind a computer. So well, maybe my hobby is not to healthy but, maybe this summer I start to do something more healthy like biking or running, because this year I gain a lot of weight and that is definitely not a good thing . So that’s all people I hope this last days in the university be very good for everyone and I hope nobody die of the stress. Greeting Piero!

Hi everybody! I hope you are happy because is finally Friday… but well as every Friday it is time to post a new entrance in my blog, and today I am happy to say that the topic of this day is the Holidays, which is my favourite time of the year, and I say this because Holidays is the time where you don’t have any important responsibility (academically talking), and you can sleep a lot, drink a lot of ice creams, practice some sports, swim in the pool, go to the beach, etc, etc.
And talking about places I visited let me tell you that the place that I like to visit the most is Viña del Mar, because there I can share with my father’s family who live there, and visit all the fun places that there are, like all the beaches, the parks like “Jardín Botánico” or “Quinta Vergara”, the restaurants where we used to eat typical sea food dishes like the “Cinzano” and the “Café Journal”, and also to visit historical places in the beautiful city of Valparaíso. Also this year was special because I went on holidays with my girlfriend so it was more fun than the past times where I only had to play on the beach with my little brother.
Okay everyone, and talking about the next summer holidays, let me tell you that I really don’t think to go to Viña del Mar, I mean this is my first year in Santiago, and it has been very stressing for me, I mean the people walks faster than any other place I have been, the smog is like our constant cloud in the sky, and all that so I am thinking very serious about going not to the beach but to the countryside because in my opinion is the most relaxed, silenced, and uncontaminated place I can go so, I think that it could be a nice way to clean my mind, clear my ears and obviously my lungs, and once again I would obviously like to go with my girlfriend, because this is also her first year here in Santiago, so I think that is a very necessary thing to do. And well I have some relatives in the countryside, so I could stay with them in their house in Doñihue, which is about 23 kilometers west of Rancagua, and every time that I go there I return like renovated to the city.
And in Doñihue I think that I could be able to live the life of the countryside for a couple of weeks, I mean I could feed the animals, help in the kitchen with the “cazuelas” and breath pure air obviously.
And well, that’s all for now, I hope all of you can go to the places you want to this summer, and that have a great time out of the stress of university. Greetings!

Abortions may pose risk to future babies, according to study
http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2009/sep/16/abortion-risk-weight-premature-study
hi everybody, today I will make a summary of a item that I found on www.guardian.co.uk , which is about the risk that womans who make an abortion runs if they try to have a baby in some other time in the future., which could born premature or with low weight.
The research had place out in Canada, where they say that maybe one of the most important reasons of the damage in the new borns is that abortions cause damage on the woman's cervix, which difficult the pregnancy process.
Dr Prakesh Shah who made the review says that womens don't have the right information to take important decissions related to pregnancy (in the case of the terminating pregnancy) and also related to abortion (in the case of the methods that they use to literally extract the baby), so womens need to have all the information they could so they can take an informed choice.
Another thing that Dr. Shah hopes is that the results of his study don't be misrepresented by anti-abotion groups, considering that he propose that womens need to get information about how to do the abortion.
And that's why The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists says that womans need to be really supported on their choices, because after all the abortion is now an important topic in womens healthcare.
They found that womens who already had abortions are in a 72% increased risk for low birth weight and 93% for prematurity. There was no increased risk that the baby would be small for gestational age.
In the other hand abortions now, could have safer ways to be done but, anyway the womens that suffer this tend to be unmarried, young and from socio-economically disadvantaged groups, the paper notes, but the researchers believe they have allowed for this in their calculations.
Finally this study doesn't mean that womes if they already had an abortion they couldn't have any more babys but, and to finish i would like to quote the words of the Dr. : "The effect has to be balanced against the serious effects of forcing women to continue with unwanted pregnancies," he said. "Any medical procedure is likely to have side-effects."
Ok, that's all, see you people!

Something about sports...
Hi everybody! I hope your yesterday’s celebrations were great, I mean all over the country, the people was really happy because of the achievement of the national soccer team, and talking about soccer, today I will talk about sports, first of all, I have to say that I don’t practice any sport, I think that is because of the University that I don’t have enough time to practice some sport, but well when I travel to Machalí on the weekends, I ride my bike to visit my relatives in Rancagua. Well, sports I think that are important for all the people in a country, because that decrease the levels of fat people who are in risk of getting a heart attack, getting diabetes, etc. And to encourage people to practice sports I would try to make some contests so people can set their goals, in the loss of weight for example, and if they get to the goal, the receive some kind of recognition. Also, I have to say that in the future, according to all the technology related with sports I think that people will make more physical exercise with less effort, so I think that it will be very comfortable to practice even the difficult sports like swimming and rugby for example. And for finish let me tell you that I don’t think that the talent in sports is a genetics thing, because if you think that you can do it, you will be able to do it, it is just about the passion that you have and the goals that you set for yourself. And well, let me promise to all the class that in summer I will practice as many sports as I could, so I can bring back my old body shape. See you and have a good week.

What to do in Rancagua
Hi everybody, today I Hill write a mini visitor’s guide but it won’t be about Santiago because I’m not from here so I will wirte about my city… Rancagua. Well, Rancagua is not a really big city but is one of the most historical places of our country. Well, one of the important places in Rancagua is the “Plaza de los Héroes” where was the Rancagua Disaster, battle where the chilean army commanded by Bernardo Ohiggins fight against the Spanish army, and well walking from this square through “Paseo Estado” you can visit the Regional Museum where is hosted all the history of the zone even the precolombine one. Well other place that you can visit is the “Medialuna Monumental” where takes place the Nacional Rodeo Championship, and also where in two time it was play the Davis Cup, one of them last weekend against Austria. Well a few minutes to the west through the “El Cobre” highway, there are the Cauquenes hotsprings, where you can enjoy of all the benefits of thermal water, and also there you can enjoy of all the nature of the region with an amazing view of the Cachapoal river. And finally near to the hotsprings like 45 minutes far from there going further into the “Los Andes” mountainrange you can get to one of the humanity patrimony of our country, the “stairs town” Sewell, which is now one of the biggest copper reservoir in the country, and also because is very vivid place to visit. And well that’s all I can say about Rancagua, there’s obviusly more but we have a quizz now and I have to finís my post… See you

My opinion about Transantiago...
Hi everybody! I hope you be good... Today I will talk about the transportation system of the capital city of our dear country Chile, the famous Transantiago, which actually in my opinion is kind of a good thing. But well first of all, let me tell you that this is my first year here in Santiago, because I'm originally from Machali, so I have to say that there in my town the transportation system it's a big mess, I mean the buses passes one per five or ten minutes, and they're not big enough for all the people that uses them so, the waiting times are longer. And I obviously don’t have an opinion about the old system, but I can compare it with the TransO’Higgins system, and well it is obvius that there is no comparison, because here in Santiago is really easy to get to the place that you want, for example if you want to go downtown you have a lot of possibilities of busses to take and also there is the amazing metro, which sometimes is full of people, but is really fast. One of the other things that I think that is positive about Transantiago is the Bip! Card, which you can charge with money and then use it to pay the bus or the metro, and it let you change from one bus to another or to the subway, only paying once, which in TransO’Higgins does not happen, there every time you take a bus you have to pay it, so it is not very economic.
And well, that’s it for now, I hope that in the future this system improves the subway lines because that’s the only thing lefting for make of this something nice and helpful for Capital people.
Ok, that’s it for now, see you then.
Greetings!

Hi everybody! Today I would like to talk about the country that I have always wanted to visit, and that country is Italy, because I think that is a really wonderful place in Europe, one of the best in my opinión, I mean there’s a lot of historic places, also a lot of monuments, squares, restaurants, etc. And well it is obvius that I would like to travel with my girlfriend so we can enjoy all the magic of Italy together.
Well what I know about Italy is that, people there is very polite and friendly, also there in Italy the food is amazing (it’s one of my reasons to go there), and as I already said there I’d like to visit all the monuments, squares, museums, and restaurants as posible.
And well I just have to say that I would like to go there but only for holidays, because for me is better to visit this kind of places, that to live there because in my opinión you enjoy it a lot more that being living there and make for example the colliseum a normal thing.
Finally, let me tell you that I hope to go there as soon as posible, because on 2012 the world ends… Haha, it was a joke, I mean i don’t believe on that so maybe in a far future I’ll be able to do that exciting trip.

First Semester... Good And Bad Points
Hi everybody! My name is Piero and I'm new in this group of intermediate English, first of all let me tell you that I'm belong to the Obstetrics career and let me tell you that being studying here at the Universidad de Chile is like a big honor, I mean this is the best University so it's really exciting to be part of it.
And well, last semester was my very first experience in many challenging aspects, because it was the first time that I have to live alone, because I'm renting a department in front of the faculty, and also because the fact of being in the university it's a complete change in every person's life, I mean what I used to study in School was nothing compared of what I have to study now. But that's the fun part, because the subjects are really really interesting right now, for example in the fisrt semester one of my favorite subjects was Embriology, because is amazing to learn about how every person gets the human form during the pregnancy of our mothers, and let me tell you, I have to recongnize that during the fisrt semester I didn't practice any kind of sports, and during the past months I'm 18 pounds fatter than in the summer, which acording to my Doctor wasn't a good thing, but I really not so worry about it because for me the important thing is no to be hungry, because if the stomach is happy I can study in a better way. But I promise that next summer I will practice some sports hopefully everyday, to get back my normal body shape.
Another thing about university is the fact that you are able to meet a lot of people and I had the luck that I have a lot of friends and they're all really nice people.
Finally, I can say that the biggest support here in this new life that I haver here in Santiago is my girlfriend Catalina, who was my neihgbour there in Rancagua, and that is also living here in Santiago, studying another Health Area career.
Okay... that's it for now, I hope to share some other things with you people in some future blogs... Greetings... Piero

My Blogging Experience...
Hi there everybody! First of all let me tell you that this is my last blog in this course, so it's timo so say goodbye, but I think that before leaving this experience, I should talk abou how did I lived this experience.
I think that this was a very funny activity to do in English class, instead of being just working with the book, because as students we have to practica a lot our english, because of all the "papers" that we have to read when we have to study or when we have to do some research for a presentation, also is nice to work in the computers because as we upload the blogs every week, it becomes an open window for everybody who wants to read your entrances, and it's not a thing that just the teacher reads and evaluate.
Other thing that I have to say about the blogs is that it's a really nice instance to improve our vocabulary and our grammar in general, because it's not just about read sentences like anybody could do it, but we have to give a real meaning to what we write, so that's what I think this is a nice method to learn.
And well, one of the things that I don't like much about blogging are the topics of the blogs, because I think that all the blogs should be related to sciences, because that's what we matter now, so maybe that's one of the things I don't like, and the other thing is that in my case I don't know how the blogs are evaluated, so I don't know if what I write is good or bad, so that's it, and I think that tose are things that are really easy to fix.
And well, this are my last words, I hope you enjoyed what I wrote during all the blog sessions, so goodbye and good luck in the final exams.
Greetings Piero...

"Do Schools Kill Creativity" Talk Review
Today I will write a review, about Sir Ken Robinson's conference, which is entitled "Schools Kill Creativity", and well in this conference Sir Robinson talks about the mistakes that we are comitting in our traditional education system, because we are not enhancing the real habilities of the students.
And well, first of all I must say that one of the highlights is the big interest of this men in education, also this men, Sir Ken Robinson, is a person who can catch the attention from the audience with clear words and with a lot of jokes, his control over the things he says is really remarkable and his standing in front of the audience is with authority about what the topics he talk about.
One of the things that he mentioned and that i think that is true, is the fact of the schools don't develop the other kinds of habilities that students could have, because in the schools the main subjects are the ones related with numbers and literature, and the they don't work with artistic habilities like dancing or painting, etc. So this herairchy is what kills creativity on the students who have other kind of skills.
The other topic to distinguish is the fact that little kids are not affarid to be wrong, but when they grow up, when they become adults, they accquire the affraid to be wrong, which don't let them to be creatives.
And finally, he menttiones that our task is to educate the student's whole being, so they can face the future as integrals persons, the ones who can be the best in what they are really the best
So that's it, Greetings!

My Ideal Job... VideoGames Tester
Hi everybody! today I will write about my ideal job, and that would be "Videogames Tester", and in my opinion this is a very relaxed job because I just have to sit and play a lot of videogames, and oubviusly that I get paid for it, to get this job I need some really special habilities, because I have to take not of every mistake in the games so I can tell to the gamemakers and they can fix the problem, so the game would be perfect for selling.
I think that I would be goos at this job, because I like to play Videogames a lot, but now that I'm in the university I almost don't play any because the studies are the most important right now, and when I play at them I use to pay a lot of atettion to every detail in the game, such as in the textures, the sounds, the playability and the whole content of the games, not caring if they are sports games, adevnture games, action games, or any kind.
I think that this is a very difficult job to find because here in Chile the videogames market is not really developed, because in this country we used to play the videogames that comes from other nations, mainly USA, so that is the reason why I think that this is a job that i could find in countries where the videogames industry is light years developed from our country.
So that's it... this my ideal job, but let me say that this is just like a never came true dream, so that's why I'm now studying Obstetrics, and I have to say that I love what I'm in to.
That's all people see you in the next blog.... Greetings!

My Favourite Subject
Hi classmates! Today I will talk about my favourite subject, and at this point my favourite one is Embriology! And well this subject is taught by many teachers such as Professor Miguel Concha or Professor Mariana Rojas, and my seminars are with Professor Rojas.
I like this subject because it is really important for my career of Obstetrics and also because it has been really exciting to study with real embryos and fetus of different animals such as mice, zebra fish, chickens, and also with Human fetus en embryos, which was kind of shocking at first but with the time I'm getting used to it, because it will be my work in the future.
And well this semester I have learnt how to calculate the age of the embryo, also about how the heart is formed and also I have learnt how to recognize some structures in the microscope.
Finally, I hope to get a good mark at the exam because the subject is great but there are a lot of names and structures to recognize.
Well, that's all, See you at next Blog!
Bye!!!

An Ideal Future...
Hi Classmates! Today I will write about what I would like to be doing in 5 years from now... (not considering this year because if I consider it, I'll still be at the University)
Well I can say that in 5 years I would like to live and to be working as an Obstetrician, in a clinic in the south of our country, could it be in Los Angeles, Puerto Montt, or wherever in the south, because I really hadn't been at the south of the country but, i think that is a nice place to live and also because the actual obstetric attention is not that well as the pregnant womens there need. I would like to have a boat and bring the obstetric attention to the people who lives in different islands, like in Chiloé.
Personally I would like to have a big house, and to get married and have a lot of kids with my wife, also as I said before I would like to have a boat the travel from island to island paying the obstetric atenttion to the people who need it.
And well finally I have to say that I would like to travel to different countries in the world, like Italy, Japan and Brazil...
Well, that's it... and I hope that someday I could accomplish all my dreams and to be happy...!
See you in the next Blog!

The Best In Your Area...
Well today I will talk about my Embriology teacher, miss Mariana Rojas Arauco, she's an academic of the Biomedical Sciences Instute of the Universidad de Chile's Medecine Faculty and also she had her specialization in Reproductive Biology at Spain. I like her because she's until is my best teacher in the "Cellular Bases, Genetics and Embriology" subject, I mean the way she teaches us all the things about the Embrionary Development, motivates me to study and to learn more about this subject, that is really importante for me in the career of Obstetrics.
Dra. Mariana is a really relaxed person, she's always smiling, and also she never seems to be stresses, and all this is because she took a course about floral arrangments called Ikebana, which is a Japanese Philosophy, it's a ritual where the person move the garden to the inside of the house, creating a shrine that represents, heaven, earth and men.
Well, Dra. Mariana Rojas is also a veterinary and she is working with a team of experts to clonate a Huemul and the Pudú, which is a kind of deer, but little, which are about to become extinct. You can read more about this in the nex link: http://www.conciencia-animal.cl/paginas/noticias/noticias.php?d=1624

My Career...
First of all let me tell you that my career is Obstetrics and Puericulture, and I'm studying this because it was my second option, just after Nursing, but well, now that I know a lot more of my career I feell really excited about it, because for me this is kind of the most beautiful career in health area. I think that Obstetricians contribute just to a part of the society, and that part are the women because is the Obstetrician's role to care about them, to inform them, to educate them, all along their reproductive life, I mean is not just about pregnancy. A professional in my area uses such tools as Vaginal Speculums, uterine depressors, and obviuslly the gloves, masks, and everything that you can use in a procedure that involves the presence of the newborn, and all the blood and the placenta, because both of them are always present in labours. My favourite subject is Nursing Foundations because is the subject that is more related to health area, because all the other subjects are about general topics to start our career, like Maths, Chemistry, Genetics, etc.
And well I hope to have good marks in the upcoming tests to pass this first semester, and to be motivated to learn Anatomy and to start the Professional Development Integration...
Okay... That's all... see you in the next blog buddy classmates.

The Photograph I Like...
Well, first of all, this picture is from my cousin's baptism in "Lo Miranda" area at Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins Region, where I became the godfather of the both of them, which names are Lorenzo and Amparo. The picture was taken by my brother Lucas, who is 12 years old and that day he was the offcial photographer of the baptism. And well, in the picture you can see me with my uncles Rodrigo and Patricia (the parents of the twins), my baby cousins, and the other godfather (Felipe Osorio) and the godmothers (Yolanda Villagra, Josefina Berríos and Karina Urtubia), when we were at the church with all the family and friends.
After the baptism we went to "Olivar" area were we had a dinner where we ate lots of meat with some salads, and after that we share a cake and some drinks.
I like this picture because it means a lot for me, I mean this is the first time that I'm a godfather, and to be my cousins godfather is the best, because since the day they born I had been with them, taking care of them, playing with them, and everything. And that's all for now... see you at next BLOG...

My Career-related Website
First of all my career-related website is AulaDigital, because we still don't know any website related to our career, and well the link to my career related website is: http://www.auladigital.med.uchile.cl/
I found this site because a friend told me that there was a website where I could find all the information I needed about all my classes, my classmates, my marks, also about the faculty in general and information that teachers upload there, here at the university. Besides, this site allows me to publish any information to my classmates, and also I can upload usefull documents for my classmates.
I visit this site everyday because there's always new information to check and new documents to download, and I like it a lot because is really easy to use, and also because it keeps me connected with the university and with my classmates when I'm in Machali.
And well maybe in a few months my favourite career-related website will be a website which be more related to Obstetrics.

My Favourite Piece Of Technology Is...
My favourite piece of technology is my PSP (Play Station Portable), which is a device that has a lot of functions, for example, you can use it to listen to music, watch videos and photos, play videogames, surf the net, etc. I got it like a year and a half ago, when me and my dad came to Santiago to look for it, and in the end we bought it. Right now I mainly use it to listen to music, because now that I'm in the University, I don't have time to play games or watch videos.
I use it when I travel from Rancagua and also I use it like every night before going to bed, to get some relaxing time and to sleep like an angel.
I like my PSP because first of all it is cute. Second, because it is easy to carry it and it uses a rechargable battery, and last but not least, because as I said before it has so many functions !
And well, I think that my life without it would be almost the same, I mean I wouldn't sleep so relaxed, and also my travels from Rancagua would be bored.
As I couldn't upload a picture of my PSP, here's a link to an image of my favourite technological device:

Personal Information
Hi everybody! My name is Piero Vásquez, I'm 18 years old and I belong to the Obstetrics School of the Medicine Faculty of Universidad de Chile.
I believe that I'm a common guy, I like to listen to music, to play videogames, and to watch some USA's TV shows like "LOST" or "The Simpsons", besides I wear normal clothes, I mean I don't have a special style or anything, and well I don't practice any sports so I have to say that I'm a sedentary person, but well maybe in the second semester I will pick a sport activity here at the university, and I don't like to join my mother to the supermarket and also I don't like to eat chinesse food, because it has a lot of weird things like "Dragoon Toths".
Well, let me say to you that I'm now living here at Santiago, but I'm originally from Rancagua on the VI Region of Chile. There I live with my mother Marisol and my brother Lucas who is 12 years old, actually I live in Machali which is so close to Rancagua, that is kind of like the same place.
I decided to study this, because in my opinion this is the most beautiful career in the health area, and I have to recognize that I'm really excited here at the university.
And well my experience with english among my life has been good, because I think that is really important to dominate at least two languages. And I think that here at the university I will improve my english a lot.
And well I think that this is a general idea of mine.
Goodbye and see you on the next Blog!
Greetings Piero V.
