Hi everybody, today I Hill write a mini visitor’s guide but it won’t be about Santiago because I’m not from here so I will wirte about my city… Rancagua. Well, Rancagua is not a really big city but is one of the most historical places of our country. Well, one of the important places in Rancagua is the “Plaza de los Héroes” where was the Rancagua Disaster, battle where the chilean army commanded by Bernardo Ohiggins fight against the Spanish army, and well walking from this square through “Paseo Estado” you can visit the Regional Museum where is hosted all the history of the zone even the precolombine one. Well other place that you can visit is the “Medialuna Monumental” where takes place the Nacional Rodeo Championship, and also where in two time it was play the Davis Cup, one of them last weekend against Austria. Well a few minutes to the west through the “El Cobre” highway, there are the Cauquenes hotsprings, where you can enjoy of all the benefits of thermal water, and also there you can enjoy of all the nature of the region with an amazing view of the Cachapoal river. And finally near to the hotsprings like 45 minutes far from there going further into the “Los Andes” mountainrange you can get to one of the humanity patrimony of our country, the “stairs town” Sewell, which is now one of the biggest copper reservoir in the country, and also because is very vivid place to visit. What to do in Rancagua
